MAKE OKLAHOMA WEIRDER'S 3RD ANNUAL HALLOWEEN IN MAY COMES TO RESONANT HEAD
HALLOWEEN? IN MAY??
Sure! Why let Christmas in July have all the fun?
We throw a Halloween concert party every year during Memorial Day weekend for all you spooky season lovers who can’t get enough of it in the fall. Also, if it rains out your plans to go to the lake or attend an outdoor festival, we gotchu. This is an indoors event, and we’re so excited to bring it to Resonant Head on Oklahoma City’s Calle Dos Cinco this year!
Plus, we get to hang out with the coolest Oklahoma bands and artists from a wide spread of genres.
TELL ME MORE...
THE MUSIC

Medicine Horse
Tulsa indigenous doom metal channeling folklore traditions through modern lenses of environmentalism and injustice. It will get heavy. It will get loud. Medicine Horse is the caliber of thunder that makes the Great Plains great.

Mars Deli
Oklahoma City Hip-hop/R&B with explosive energy and a flamboyant confidence unequaled in the scene. Also a long-standing member of supergroup Sativa Prophets, Mars Deli changes up the vibe when given an ample stage to indulge in his solo escapades.

Bad Athlete
Oklahoma City glam garage rock with catchy doubled vocals and riffy guitars. Bad Athlete knows a thing or two about celebrating Halloween out of season, having released songs like “Scream Queens” and “Night Witch” in Januaries of years past.

Laine's Heathen Boots
Norman goth cowboy club music from one of Oklahoma DIY’s greats. Laine’s Heathen Boots melds low-voiced southern drawl with a darkwave dance pulse to create a uniquely post-modern American electronic sound.
THE VENUE

Dedicated parking is located in the lot south of the venue, and there is also street parking available around and near the building.

Resonant Head is a bar and venue located in the historic Capitol Hill District of South OKC. Oklahoma City is rapidly expanding to the southside and Resonant Head is at the forefront of those efforts. This puts Resonant Head in a unique position to pioneer the future of the district while keeping the responsibility it has to its surrounding neighbors and community close in a way that honors and empowers.
